said about Comfy Travel:

Comfy Travel - Once again you provided our team of 30 with excellent service on our excursion to Siem Reap. The vans were clean and well maintained, the hotel you recommended was the best one we've stayed at in Cambodia, and the touring schedule of the temples and floating village you suggested was perfect for the amount of time we had. The prices were great too. Our team loved you and your drivers. Thanks for a great ending to our March 2012 trip to the Kingdom of Wonder!

Kevin Knight Said about Comfy Travel
Kevin Knight....I have had the pleasure of using the services of Comfytravel both as a member of a short term missions team and more recently as a leader of a team. The quality of service and the professionalism is beyond comparison anywhere in Cambodia. The owner/operator became the most valuable person on our "Team" as he guided us through the many changes in our schedule. He was also invaluable as a translator when needed. I am happy to endorse his services but more importantly I am happy to call him a friend and brother in Christ.

Bruce Hein from Love in Action said about Comfy Travel:

I have used Comfy Travel on three separate occasions. They have consistently provided premium service at an affordable price. Their vans are clean and well maintained. Their staff is always courteous and helpful. In my estimation they are the best travel service in Cambodia. They always give you nice extras like cold drinks in the vans and even Wifi in the vans and they do this at no additional cost. General Manager is a man with the highest business ethics. He always exceeds my expectations.
Sincerely,
Bruce Hein

USEFUL INFORMATION YOU MAY NEED!!!

SIEM REAP PROVINCE (ANGKOR CITY)
Siem Reap province is located in northwest Cambodia. It is the major tourist hub in Cambodia, as it is the closest city to the world famous temples of Angkor (the Angkor temple complex is north of the city). The provincial capital is also called Siem Reap and is located in the South of the province on the shores of the Tonle Sap Lake, the greatest sweet water reserve in whole Southeast Asia. The name of the city literally means “Siamese defeated”, referring to the victory of the Khmer Empire over the army of the Thai kingdom in the 17th century.
backpackers willing to brave the tortuous road from the Thai border on the tailgate of a local pick-up truck. There were a couple of large hotels and a handful of budget guesthouses. Tuk-tuks and taxis were non-existent and the trusty motodup was the chosen means of touring the temples of Angkor.
At the turn of the millennium Siem Reap was a Cambodian provincial town with few facilities.

SIHANOUKVILLE - BEACH RESORT
Beach town 'port community, fledgling resort destination' - all describe Sihanoukville, Cambodia's premier beach town. Sihanoukville's white sand beaches and warm Gulf of Thailand waters combine with a laid back, beachy atmosphere to provide a great little tropical getaway. Sihanoukville is a place to unwind by the beach, enjoy the fresh from-the-ocean seafood, take in a snorkeling or scuba trip, and generally slow-down, lay back and chill-out.
Sihanoukville has a different look and feel than most Cambodian towns. Constructed as a port city in the late 1950s, the town is much newer, more urban and cosmopolitan than most Cambodian provincial cities.
Nowadays, Sihanoukville is as much a beach town as it is a port town, catering to beach-going weekenders from Phnom Penh as well as a steadily increasing number of foreign visitors. Still, the pace of life in Sihanoukville is very relaxed.

Climate and Weather
The climate can generally be described as tropical. As the country is affected by monsoon, it is hot and humid with an overage temperature around 27.C (80.F). There are two distinct seasons: the Rainy Season and the Dry Season. However, the Dry Season is divided into two sub-seasons, cool and hot. These seasons are:The Rainy season:From June till October 27-35.C (80-95.f)The Dry season (cool):From November till February 17-27.C (80-95.F)The Dry season (Hot) :From March till May 29-38.C (84-100.F)Please click here for Weather in Cambodia

General Advice & Health
Drink lots of water. Never drink tap water purified, bottled water is available everywhere. Use an insect repellent against mosquitoes. It is the only way to be sure of protection against mosquito borne diseases. Since Cambodia has a hot and humid tropical climate, casual and light-weight clothing is best. Clothing made from natural fibers is the best option. A jacket might be needed on cool winter evenings or in hotels and restaurants using excessive air-conditioning. A hat and high-factor sun block is advisable as protection against the hot sun when sightseeing. When visiting temples or pagodas, including those of Angkor Wat, shorts and T-shirts are acceptable. Shoes are generally removed at the entrance to pagodas. For visits to the Silver Pagoda, which is within the Royal Palace grounds, visitors are asked to dress more formally. Gentlemen are required to wear long trousers and ladies should wear long trousers or long skirts.Standard film, (such as Kodak, FUJI or Konica 100, ), slide and digital camera memory are widely available. Photos are inexpensive to process in the country. Any specialized photo equipment should be brought with you. Photography in airports, railway stations and near any military installations is forbidden and discretion should be used when photographing people, particularly monks. The cheapest & best quality photo service in Phnom Penh is SPK Photo Studio FUJI Shop at Monivong Blvd.
HEALTH REQUIREMENTS
Although no vaccinations are officially required for entry to Cambodia, they are highly encouraged. Visitors are advised to check with their doctor or a travel immunization clinic regarding protection against malaria, typhoid, tetanus, hepatitis A and B. Any essential medications should be brought with you as there is no guarantee they will be available in Cambodia.

FOOD & DRINK

Khmer food is one of the major national identities that reflect the ways of life, thought, and mind of the Cambodian people which are hidden in the taste of consumption of meat dishes and sweet food. Cambodia has been rich in a variety of plants and crops since ancient times so that we could cook many types of foods suitable for each group of different people.
Food is one of our most basic needs. We cannot live without it. Food gives us the energy for everything we do – walking, talking, working, playing, reading, and even thinking and breathing. Food also provides the energy for our nerves, muscles, heart, and glands that need to work. In addition, food supplies the nourishing substances to our bodies requiring to build and repair tissues and to regulate body organs and systems.

All living things must have food to live. Green plants use the energy of sunlight to make food out of carbon dioxide (a gas in the air) and water and other substances from the soil. Other living things depend on the food made by green plants. The food that people and other animals eat comes chiefly from plants or from animals that eat plants.
Food does more than help keep us alive, strong, and healthy. It also adds pleasure to living. We enjoy the flavors, odors, colors, and textures of foods. We celebrate special occasions with favorite meals and feasts.
Favorite vegetables include beans, broccoli, cabbage, carrots, celery, lettuce, onions, peas, potatoes, and sweet corn. Vegetables are commonly eaten during the main part of a meal. They may be served raw in a salad, cooked and served with a sauce, or added to a soup.
